Toad of Toad Hall
A play in four acts of Kenneth Grahame’s book The Wind in the Willows , created by A. A. Milne, author of Winnie-the-Pooh . Milne added a couple of new characters to frame the narrative (Marigold and her Nurse, who open and close the play) and focused the entire play on the adventures of Toad, that ne'er-do-well rapscallion who refuses to take the advice of his good friends Water-Rat, Mole, and Badger to tone down his antics. But they keep on rescuing him from himself.
