Crime at Black Dudley
During a house party at Black Dudley, a country mansion, the host is murdered and an important item disappears. A criminal gang holds the guests hostage, demanding the return of the missing item. After a series of thrilling episodes, laced with humor, the guests escape. Albert Campion is one of the guests. In later Allingham novels he solves the mystery.
